 Donations given through “Firstgiving” are collected immediately and are electronically transferred to HDSA’s National Office. These donations will be credited directly to the Orange County chapter. This eliminates pledges that are never fulfilled and means you get the funds sooner to help your cause.

Our personal fundraising pages are designed to be easy for you, your fundraisers and their donors.

  1. Firstgiving sets up, hosts and supports the service for you. This is a fast and easy process – they can get you set up very quickly. All HDSA-OC has to do is promote the service to our supporters as a way to you’re your fundraising easier and more effective.
  2. HD Fundraisers create their own pages quickly and simply. It takes less than five minutes and requires no technical skills. Following step-by-step instructions you can personalize your page with pictures and text and create your own memorable web address. Pages can be created as part of a team or as individual supporters.
  3. Supporters invite family, friends and colleagues to donate. The built-in email tools make it easy to reach out to more people for your support - it's a fast, low-cost way to involve many people in fundraising efforts. You can and should still ask for support in person, by phone and by mail.
