How to use
Firstgiving.com
With
Firstgiving you can maximize your
fundraising results in a few simple steps!

Go to
www.firstgiving.com/hdsa-oc
This is the "HDSA
Startpage" where your funds are credited to our affiliate.

Click on “get started”
-
Select the region/ Chapter you will participate with (type
in HDSA and then go alphabetically through chapter names to Huntington’s
Disease Society of America - Orange County Affiliate)

Select event participating in (HD Walk for the Cure –
October 20, 2007)

If you are a returning member enter your e-mail address and
password. If you are a new member please enter your e-mail address and
select “I am new to this site” and click continue.

Then fill out all the information (i.e. name, address,
etc.)

Create a name for your page and enter it on the yellow box
under web address.

Then design your page, you can customize it any way you
would like. You may add your own text and upload your own pictures. If
you would like some pictures from HDSA-Orange
County, just let us know and we’ll e-mail you some for your
site.

You can customize your thank you e-mail to all donors and
have to option to receive an e-mail when someone donates.

Once you are finished designing your page send it out to
friends and family!

Don’t forget to e-mail your new Firstgiving website address
to
info@hdsaoc.org
so we can add your name & link on
www.hdsaoc.org
